Hey folks, I'm switching from my single cable adsl modem to wireless and would like to know what the consensus is on either keeping my modem and just getting a wireless router or getting an all in one wireless adsl modem. From what i've been reading - the former seems to be the more preferred. What i'm wondering is, with the 2 device setup - i'm going to end up having 3 firewalls: 1 on the cabled modem, another on wireless router and the 3rd software based on the OS. I'm thinking this isn't a good idea. Then there's the problem of router failure. With the 1 device option you've only got 1 box to think about if the connection dies. Thoughts?
