There's a ton of details at mocoNews here , but here's some of the basics: The first market and phone: The U.K. will be the first market to offer Comes With Music with sales planned to start on Oct. 16. The Nokia 5310 XpressMusic Comes With Music edition is expected to cost 129.95 pounds, and people can pre-register their orders at Carphone Warehouse. The service will launch in the U.S. next year, Reuters reports . Release . The first touchscreen phone: Nokia also announced today the Nokia 5800 XpressMusic, which will be the handset maker's first mass-market touchscreen phone and first attempt at developing a competitior to Apple's ( NSDQ: AAPL ) iPhone. The phone will be available worldwide beginning in the fourth quarter for an estimated retail price of 279 EUR before taxes and subsidies. Washington Township supervisors must soon decide if they want to pursue teaming with lobbyists to obtain $8 million to $10 million in federal grant money for extending Washington Township Boulevard from Route 316 to Route 16 west of Waynesboro. The extended roadway would include a 1,000-foot bridge, crossing flood plains and the west branch of Antietam Creek. At Wednesday night’s workshop, Township Manager Mike Christopher asked supervisors to consider hiring the Delta Development Group to help apply for the money before the opportunity passes by. Supervisors were curious, but undecided and agreed to hear a presentation from the lobbyist group at their next workshop on Oct. 15. Delta Group Hiring the Delta Group comes with a price, but also an excellent opportunity, according to Christopher. “The competition for this particular round of money seems to be really intense,” said Christopher. The cost of hiring the lobbying group for two years would total $216,000, but Christopher noted Delta Group has a strong track record. During the previous round of federal transportation funding, all 16 of their clients received money. “I like those odds,” said Christopher in a memo to supervisors. The plan ideally would match federal money with 10 percent local and 10 percent Pennsylvania Department of Transportation money.
