The Wireless Messaging API (WMA) 2.0, defined in JSR-205, is a set of optional APIs for Wireless messaging. WMA connectivity is based on the Generic Connection Framework, which is the basis of all communication in CLDC-based Java ME architectures. I'm working on getting Pre-Logon Connect (PLC) working for our laptops but I'm running into issues in that it appears that I can only use logon windows credentials to establish the PLC connection. We've been using the Windows Wireless client because it will allow us to PLC using the computer credentials allowing the device to receive policies and updates prior to logon. Does anyone know of a way to make the Intel PROset Wireless software utilize the computer account rather than the user account? ...

I tried posting this over in the D-Link section but didn't get any response, so I will try it here. I was looking to retire my Audiotron and possibly replace it with D-Links DSM-520 for added image and video support. I was wondering if this device allows you define your own radio stations. I did find that it uses AOL radio and Live365, but nothing saying that you can add your own stations. Any feedback I could get about this product (good and bad) would be great. ...

I have a DWL-2000AP+ and wish to use it as a Wireless repeater. That's the funny part 1: connected to base Modem(192.168.1.1), cannot request IP with DHCP in base Modem. Manual assign IP can use without problem at all 2: connect and change 2000ap+ to 192.168.1.254, set up DHCP to give 192.168.1.100~199 range. Unable to surf net. First, is that such thing as DHCP relay for repeater? why I just cannot get any DHCP from my base modem(Aztech ADSL Wireless modem) Thanks for help in advance ...
