One one computer, running XP and IE-8, I have a Windows Live Mail account. On another computer, running Windows 2000 and IE-6, I have a Windows Live Hotmail account. For some reason, when I try to syncronize my Live Mail account on the XP unit with the Hotmail server, I can't. I've eliminated almost all of the excess email records from the Live Hotmail account on the Win 2000 unit, with was a lot of them, but can't get the Windows Live account purged of these by using the syncronizing. A couple of days ago I right clicked in Windows Live hot-mail and clicked on 'Block Images' or something similar. Previously when I viewed an email with photos attached, they showed in the viewing pane. Now I have to open them to view them. I want to get back to where I was. Any ideas please? ... Hey, everyone - Since I updated to WM 6.5 I have had all kinds of problems with my Hotmail and Windows Live contacts on my Ozone. To be honest, I wish I could go back to WM 6.1. I haven't seen any major improvements in function or performance with 6.5 but I have seen my fair share of bugs (phantom going into vibration problem, Windows Live, etc.). My biggest issue right now is that I have serious problems getting Hotmail to sync. I have it set for "As items arrive" and lately I either get a random message that says "Sync failed" or I don't get any new email for a while and when I try to manually send and receive, the program either hangs or says "Sync failed." A soft reset fixes the problem. Now twice I have gone to my Contacts (which are all Windows Live) and noticed that all of them are gone. A sync resets this but I think it is beyond weird that contacts downloaded to the phone disappear like that. The funny thing is that I have an MS Exchange account on my Ozone as well and I have zero problems with that. I have already tried Windows Live support and they blame the device saying that "As long as it syncs after a soft reset, it is not our problem." I think that is bull since the Exchange account works fine and the data connection is always good. They went on to say that if it was a Windows Live problem they would have had more reports about it and they haven't, so it is obviously just my phone (WTF?). So anyone else seeing Window ...
