PUNISHER War JOURNAL #19: Here we are, the beginning of the Matt Fraction and Rick Remender team writing this book. A lot of fun is to be had here and it's kind of on the level that Garth Ennis does... Minus the gore and profanity. You have Jigsaw ruining Frank's life, targeting his "friends", and setting him up for the police. It's classic Frank narration and it's classic street level action. I think I can see myself staying with this title for the team's run. I admit I have a little bit of a hard time with Howard Chaykin's art. I like the guy, but just don't feel him with this title. Anyways, this looks to be a great storyline, and I like the way they handle Jigsaw. Bendis made him look like a bumbling idiot in Daredevil and New Avengers, and it's nice of them to mention his deal with The Hood... Give it a little continuity. Of course, on the flip side, seeing Contessa here in the book, when does this take place since she's a dirty dirty Skrull? ...
