There's a big kerfuffle going on over on the VH1.com messageboards about a possible conspiracy on "I Love Money." Angry (but observant!) Aftershow extras viewers spotted an inconsistency in the show's editing. Apparently, in a quick shot of host Craig Jackson voiding this week's check, the big cardboard placard that was stamped in the Aftershow clip did not belong to the person voted out in the episode that aired on TV ( 12-Pack ) nor anyone else who has been voted out yet. In the Aftershow clip, CJ voided Whiteboy 's check. Dun dun duuuunnnnnnn. So now people think that Toastee really eliminated Whiteboy but that producers wanted to keep him on the show for the drama, so they made 12-Pack leave instead. But VH1 has kowtowed to the masses and provided this handy explanation, WITH VIDEO!, about what really happened. "Craig stamped the wrong check, the shot had to be retaken and a continuity error in the editing of the Aftershow is how the eagle-eyed extras viewers got the fodder for their conspiracy theory." Here's UNEDITED footage of what happened: VH1 TV Shows Music Videos Celebrity Photos News & Gossip Also, Jackson defended his slip-up by saying that Whiteboy SHOULD have been the one to be eliminated. "For blocking purposes, the Paymaster has to tell the producer each week who they’re voting off. That’s so they get the right shot. But I don’t like to know that information because it sort of helps with authenticity — this way m ... Source: sept11.magnify.net --- 36 days ago

In the online world, photos are some of the most popular content. And in our corner of the online world, sports photos in particular. We have very talented photographers, and their talents have been showcased greatly online. Thursday night, we're going to do something that we haven't done before to get more of their images from a game online faster than we have in the past. After the N.C. State-South Carolina football game, we will be putting up a gallery of photos called First Look. This will be a large number of pictures shot during the game and posted online in an "UNEDITED" format. Typically, the process of putting photos online goes as follows: The photo editor looks at all the pictures and then decides to put a few of them in the paper and online. A bunch of them will be put online in a photo gallery, but only after the captions have been written and time is spent deciding the order in which the photos should appear in the gallery. That is, what photo should come up first, and which should be 20th. This takes time. On Thursday night, we will be initially putting the photos on our web site uncaptioned. This is the still photography version of what you'll sometimes see on TV, when they talk about "raw footage," i.e., VIDEO that has just come in and hasn't been edited. While you are looking at the First Look, the photo editor will be then going through the images and editing them, making sure they have captions explaining the ... The self-described anarchist-activist seemed like an unlikely press freedom martyr. But a VIDEO blogger named Josh Wolf ended up serving more time in jail for defying a court order than any other journalist in U.S. history. Wolf, then 24, was held for 226 days at a federal penitentiary in Dublin , Calif. , for refusing to testify to a grand jury or turn over UNEDITED footage of a July 2005 protest in San Francisco . The footage included dramatic images of anarchists vandalizing a police vehicle and attempting to set it on fire. A police officer was also injured during the melee. Wolf posted edited versions of the footage on his own Web site , and sold portions of it to a local San Francisco television station. But federal investigators demanded his testimony and raw footage to try to identify criminal suspects. Wolf refused and spent 30 days in the Dublin federal jail before being released on bail pending the outcome of an appeal. Within weeks he lost the appeal and ended up back in the same prison, where he remained until April 2007. During his incarceration, journalists and others argued whether to consider the young videographer a journalist--and whether they should help him protect his sources and his raw material. "If it's any consideration, all of us think you're a journalist," CPJ Chairman Paul E. Steiger told Wolf by telephone on behalf of a CPJ delegation that arranged a conference call with Wolf from inside the Dublin f ... Find more results for UNEDITED VIDEO on RSSMicro.com |
