Summary: /* Don't Forget to Test */ If you just want to write new commands for Ubiquity, you should read [https://wiki.mozilla.org/Labs/Ubiquity/Ubiquity_0.1_Author_Tutorial the Command Author Tutorial] instead. This page is about how to do development on the Ubiquity core. = Getting Set Up = == Getting the Source == It is pretty easy to get involved with the development of Ubiquity. Start off by introducing yourself on the irc channel #ubiquity on [[irc.mozilla.org]]. You will need to have [http://www.python.org|Python] installed, preferably Python 2.5. Just type: easy_install Mercurial If you don't have setuptools, you can also install Hg the old-fashioned way, by downloading it from [http://www.selenic.com/mercurial/wiki/index.cgi/BinaryPackages www.selenic.com]. Once installed, you will be able to checkout the current source using the command: hg clone http://hg.toolness.com/ubiquity-firefox == Installing the Source Version of the Extension == Uninstall your current version of Ubiquity from your Firefox Addons and then run: python manage.py install This will generate a new build of the Ubiquity extension from the source checkout and install it with your local F ...

The Online Tech Tips site offers up a great tip for anyone reinstalling XP off something other than their original CD—such as a slipstreamed and automated installation —or lacking a net connection to run the activation. Before wiping your system clean, grab a file named WPA.DBL from the System32 directory and save it to a thumb drive or other external media. When you load up your new system, skip registration, enter "Safe Mode" from the boot menu, and drop it back into that System32 folder. Now you're re-activated and free of nagging. Hit the link below for detailed explanation of each step. How to avoid having to reactivate Windows XP after fresh install [Online Tech Tips] ...

More modern Flight Sims like FS2004 and FSX require a bit more work to get the animation to work as desired. My hope is that this Tutorial won’t be too complicated. There are some technical terms and procedures that might sound frightening, but really aren’t that bad once you understand them. I’ll try to explain each step as best I can and if I miss something, feel free to drop me a note or write me a comment and I’ll clarify it. From: Adam Howe ...
