Ryan Briscoe will start on the pole for Sunday's IndyCar Series season-ending Peak Antifreeze Indy 300 at the Chicagoland Speedway. The No.6 Team Penske driver circled the 1.5-mile oval four times in one minute, 41.4190 seconds (215.818 m.p.h.). The pole victory was Briscoe's third of the season and the fourth of his IndyCar career. "What a way to try to finish up this season," Briscoe said. "It's nice to win a pole on an oval.
