How many of you watched Florida choke against Ole Miss on Saturday at Ben Hill Griffin Stadium? Did you see how quarterback Tim Tebow choked when it counted the most? With victory in sight, he missed wide-open receivers twice and was stuffed short of the first-down marker on Florida's final play ( read more about it here ). Ol' Timmy Terrific must have Kyle Busch Syndrome. Busch entered the NASCAR Sprint Cup Chase as the No. 1 seed, a world of confidence and a season-high eight wins. But Busch has missed out on the championship glory thanks to bad racecars and bad decisions, and he now sits 12th in the Chase standings. Tebow and UF had no business losing to Ole Miss. Busch and Joe Gibbs Racing had no business looking like rookies during the first two races of the Chase. We'll see if Busch and JGR can improve on that today at Kansas Speedway. Tebow WAS UP ON STAGE WITH CHESNEY AFTER THE HAWAII GAME According to the Florida Times-Union, University of Florida quarterback Tim Tebow once again got up on stage with one of his favorite performers -- country music singer Kenny Chesney -- during Chesney's concert Saturday night in Jacksonville. This time, Tebow took the stage during the concert to help Chesney sing “When the Sun Goes Down.” A couple of years ago during a Gainesville concert, Tebow took the stage and helped Chesney sing his hit song, "She Thinks My Tractor's Sexy." This is the sign at a church near UF's practice field You want to talk about high expectations. Not only is Tim Tebow expected to carry the University of Florida offense on his back, win multiple Heisman Trophys and lead the Florida Gators to the national championship, but it seems as if he is at least partly responsible for the future of an entire religion, too. At least that's what it seems like after reading a Miami Herald blog about Tebow. Herald reporter Joseph Goodman reported on the above sign that sits in front of a church close to the University of Florida. Goodman also spoke with Eric Brown, the church's 31-year-old minister. Even though Brown doesn't know Tebow, he told the Herald that if the quarterback strays from the right path that all of Christianity will suffer. Brown's quote to the Herald: "I'm going to pray that [Tebow] is true to his faith because if he falls and gets caught up in some kind of scandal it will be bad for Christianity," Brown said . Interesting quote and one that should be discussed. There's no question that Tebow's faith is a big part of who he is and one of the major reasons why he is beloved by so many. What do you think?
