Kelsey Grammer is returning home after being hospitalized in New York. The 53-year-old actor, who suffered a heart attack in June, had checked himself into an undisclosed hospital the last weekend in July as a precaution when he felt faint. Grammer is now "out of the hospital, feeling great and about to resume normal activities at home," his publicist Stan Rosenfield said in a statement Tuesday. "He and his wife Camille want to thank everyone who expressed concern." Rosenfield said last week that it was possible Grammer's medication led to his symptoms. Grammer had been in town to promote his new film, "Swing Vote," co-starring Kevin Costner, Paula Patton and Stanley Tucci. Two months ago, the former "Cheers" and "Frasier" star suffered a mild heart attack in Hawaii, where he lives, while paddle-boating with his wife. ...

Aún no hay fecha de estreno para ‘What Just Happened’ , que a saber cómo la van a titular por aquí (¿llegará el día en el que los excelentísimos traductores de títulos de películas dejen de marearnos la cabeza?), pero desde luego viendo este trailer que os traemos, dan ganas de que la estrenen ya. Barry Levinson se ha encargado de dirigir esta historia que narra las andanzas de un productor para poder terminar una película mientras se enfrenta a diversos problemas personales. Robert De Niro da vida al citado productor, y le acompañan Robin Wright Penn, Catherine Keener, John Turturro, Stanley Tucci, Kristen Stewart y Michael Wincott. Además, Sean Penn y Bruce Willis tienen sendos papeles interpretándose a sí mismos. No cabe la más mínima duda de que estamos ante una visión ácida del Hollywood actual, o al menos ésas parecen haber sido las intenciones de sus artífices. Vía | The Movie Box ...

Movies about Hollywood can be grating, self-satisfied and full of inside jokes that make many audiences groan. They can also be The Player . The presence of Bruce Willis in What Just Happened? , a dark comedy about the daily grind of show business, hearkens back to his self-parodying cameo appearance in Robert Altman's benchmark film, although he looks to have a much more substantial presence, both literally and figuratively, in Barry Levinson's new project. Ol' Bruno plays a bloated, bearded version of himself that producer Ben ( Robert De Niro ) has to haggle with in order to get him in proper leading man shape for his disaster of a picture called Fiercely , starring Sean Penn . Ben's also dealing with his ex-wife Kelly ( Robin Wright Penn ) and their counseling sessions, his screenwriter friend Scott ( Stanley Tucci ) messing around her, the creative differences between wastoid director Jeremy ( Michael Wincott ) and studio chief Lou ( Catherine Keener ) and his daughter Zoe ( Kristen Stewart ) apparently coming of age far too soon for him to be comfortable with. It's a comedy, but since it's co-written by and based upon the life story of veteran producer Art Linson , chances are it's a lot more true than untrue. Basada en el libro del mismo nombre, escrito por Kate DiCamillo , la película nos narra la historia de tres personajes de cuento, un ratón que no encaja en su mundo, que prefiere leer libros a cómerselos, una ratoncilla encerrada en un calabozo que planea su huida y una sirvienta con orejas de coliflor (¿¿??); los destinos de los tres están vinculados al de una princesa llamada Pea… ‘El Valiente Despereaux’ ha sido dirigida por y en el reparto de voces originales encontramos a los famosos Matthew Broderick, Sigourney Weaver , Dustin Hoffman, Christopher Lloyd, Kevin Kline, William H. ‘La momia: La tumba del emperador dragón’ se ha saldado con un excelente resultado taquillero en su primer fin de semana, aunque no ha conseguido desbancar a la estrella de la temporada: ‘El caballero oscuro’, que alcanza ya unos niveles estratosféricos. Esta tercera entrega de las aventuras de Rick O´Connell, ideado a la sombra de Indiana Jones, parece cumplir con las expectativas de sus fans, aunque ninguno parece mostrarse entusiasmado. La crítica la ha puesto a parir. Aquí llevamos tres días con ella y hay opiniones, con y sin fundamento, para todos los gustos. ‘Swing Vote’ debe ser el enésimo intento de Kevin Costner para recuperar el favor del público, que lo perdió allá por… uf, ni me acuerdo. Supposedly when Wall-E was already in production, the Pixar team found out that Blue Sky Studios was putting out an animated robot movie called Robots. Andrew Stanton was worried — until he saw Robots, which is nothing like Wall-E and also pretty horrendous. In this scene from the movie's opening credits, Stanley Tucci and Dianne West are a robo-couple who make a baby — from a kit. I love how Tucci's such a stereotypical guybot (not wanting to read the instructions) even though he and West need a lug wrench to reproduce. And the hilarious — hilarious! — cap-off to the scene is that they forget one crucial part of their new robo-boy. Imagine if this movie had succeeded in derailing Wall-E ? ...
