Hello everyone, and welcome back to the greatest liveblog on earth — created by you, the Gawker commenters. It's like an Olympics here every Wednesday night, but a special one: the Olympics of live blogging. Before things get underway, I have a couple things to suggest we watch for tonight, followed by a special request. First, the "things to watch": Will another "clothing mashup" be unveiled? Last week, Joe wowed the judges by concocting a skort — the skirt/short combo that is to the clothing world what the Spork is to plastic cutlery. What other clothing innovations might we see tonight? A "pantdanna"? A shirt/hat combo called a "shat"? Pantihose for men, called "mantihose"? Leggings worn on the arms, called "armings"? The possibilities seem endless … Will Brooke Shields be introduced as a stylish dresser? The last two guest judges with no real connection to the fashion industry were introduced as having a "great fashion sense." Will this happen again tonight? Or will they just attempt to establish Shields' judging credentials by telling us she "wears a lot of clothes" instead? Ok, now for my special request: It came to mind after reading Richard's excellent recap last week, and its depressing but accurate observation that this season so far kind of sucks. This put me in mind of the scene in Peter Pan when Tinkerbell is dying, but the power of a crowd of children's belief in fairies restores her to life. Why? Because I believe ... Do you believe that zombies will take over the world someday? Do you spend a lazy evening watching Shaun of the Dead or 28 Days Later for the fortieth time? Did you know that a Spork can be a handy weapon when the zombies come? Do you insist on buying every zombie movie and comic book the day it’s released? Do you eat, drink and breathe all things zombie? Or wish that George Romero was your grandfather? If you do then Zombies Calling is right up your alley. Already noticed for her online comic Ice , which was nominated for a Joe Shuster Award in 2006, it was Zombies Calling that actually earned Faith Erin Hicks the prestigious award in 2008. This 104-page graphic novel, the first print work to be released by the newcomer, is set in an urban college town in Canada. That’s where we find our protagonist, Joss, enjoying a lazy evening watching zombie movies with friends. She has an obsession with all things British... ... Source: seclists.org --- 31 days ago

About a month ago I picked up a Roku / Netflix box which basically streams content from Netflix's "Watch Now" service directly to the television. Very cool. However, while browsing through the titles, I have noticed much of the content is of the sub-par variety - well, that's putting it kindly - much of it is bottom of the barrel, scraping-the-insides-of-a-cut-out-bin-with-a-Spork variety. Take these choice titles for example: ... Source: wowtv.tv --- 30 days ago

Was at FHL this weekend with pa and the 8 years old son. Arrived late after the drawing on Friday. Luckily area 18 still have 2 openings for us. Only saw two doe and a spike in 18. On the way back to camp ran into a nice forky slowly moving from 19 to 15. Could have been an easy shot if we just had area 19. For the evening hunt we switched to area 23 and worked the area near the creek. Saw about 15 doe and a spike, and heard a 3 shots from area 24 which was not open. Some people just can't learn. Went back to area 23 on Sunday morning hoping to find a legal buck hiding in the creek, but only saw the same 15 doe and the spike. It was good to meet XDHunter and had a good chat. Sunday afternoon packed up camp and was going to call it a weekend. Walked up to the window to turn in the papers, but the guy at the window said 3 spot just opened up for area 8 where most of the deer were taken from on Saturday. Well I have never been to Area 8 and so decided to do a little driving around to get to know the area. Before heading out, stopped by XDHunter's camp and met REM30-06 and CaliJeepHunter. Now that I have put a face to the name, I will look you guys up the next time I'm in FHL. Maybe we can get a game going on that poker table. My other hunting buddies and I played poker for ammo around the hunting camp. Anyway the driving around area 8 I did ended up with a dink Spork. I was going to pass it but my 8 years old son wanted to see me shoot i ...
