I have a strange request - my photoshop skills do not extend into this arena... Our kids Soccer team got a kid added after we had our team banner printed - we are trying to make shift his name in... each kid has his name around a Soccer ball as seen in the attached pics. I need to create another ball, with the name PETER around it - I thought I could steal letters from COOPER and TYLER to get what I need... but I'm horrible at selection and such... Anybody want to give it a shot? I have DSL Reports Tool Points to offer as payment :) -- "We are half-hearted creatures, fooling about with drink and sex and ambition when infinite Joy is offered us.... We are far too easily pleased." C.S. Lewis ... Source: www.expressindia.com --- 25 days ago

Calling it their most complete game of the season, Nauset Storm coach John McCully said it was a “Joy to watch” as his team dominated on the defensive side of the ball to defeat the Bass Strikers 3-0 in quarterfinal action in the Cape Cod Amateur Soccer League. The second-seeded Storm will now play Dennis-Yarmouth on Wednesday night under the lights at Eldredge Park in Orleans. The winner will advance to the league title game scheduled for Sunday night at D-Y High School. “We were able to go out there and take over possession and control the action of play,” said McCully, who also coaches the Nauset Regional High School team. “During summer leagues, a lot depends on who you have available at the game, and last night we had everyone on the team and we will on Wednesday night too.” D-Y won their first-round match against Brewster 6-1 to set up their game against Nauset. Nauset has won the league title the past two summers. ...

Pia Sundhage promised it, and it has come true: Times, they have a-changed. It used to be so simple. Mia Hamm, the cutie pie with thunderous thighs, supplied the face of the U.S. national Soccer team. She scored with frequency and ease, supported by ironwoman Kristine Lilly, bubbly Julie Foudy, Brandi "The Bra" Chastain and Joy Fawcett. They were pals and buddies and, it seemed, footballers of the ya-ya sisterhood. Those were the days. Hamm, Foudy, Fawcett and Chastain quit shortly after the 2004 Olympic Games. Last month Lilly, the world's most prolific participant, turned 37 and had a baby. ... Source: www.thespectrum.com --- 4 days ago

When I think of the great goalkeepers, I think of Peter Schmeichel , Petr Cech , Peter Shilton , and my favorite, Oliver Kahn . Yesterday, Oliver Kahn played his last Soccer match in his illustrious 20-year career. He and his club Bayern Munich played against a German select XI. His testimonial match ended with a 1-1 draw. After 75 minutes and having made several top-drawer saves Kahn gave way to Michael Rensing in the Bayern goal before embarking on a lap of honour to cheers from the 50,000 fans at the Allianz-Arena. After his testimonial, Kahn said: "Tonight was very moving for me, perhaps the most moving moment of my career. I was under pressure my whole career whereas now I just had the Joy of being out there in this stadium and before these fans one last time. It's the end of an extraordinary part of my life but also the start of something new." Oliver Kahn made 557 appearances throughout his career, most of them with Bayern Munich. Kahn, who is now 39 years old, started his career with Karlsruher SC in the 1987-1988 season. He established himself as a quality goalkeeper over the seven years he spent with the club. His most memorable time with the club was when he helped them get to the semi-finals of the UEFA CUP. In 1994, Kahn was transferred to German giants, Bayern Munich. It was here where Kahn had the most success. He won many awards both domestically and internationally during his time at the club. In 19 ...
