Not to be outdone by Axl Rose's hints at releasing Chinese Democracy this fall, Dr. Dre recently told USA Today [via Rollingstone.com ] that he is "shooting for a November or December release" for his own oft-delayed masterwork, Detox . However, he preceded the statement by saying "in a perfect world," so let's not hold our breath here, people. "I'm just now-- over the last couple of months-- starting to feel that it's going to be right and it's something I can be proud of, and everybody is going to love it," Dre said to USA Today . Dre also said Detox 's beats consist of a lot of live drums and that "usual suspects" such as Nas, Jay-Z, and Lil Wayne will make guest appearances. Whenever it happens, Detox will come out on Dre's own Aftermath / Interscope label. After the record is released (if ever), the rapper/producer told USA Today that he'd like to find the next artist he can launch into the pop stratosphere, as he did with Eminem and 50 Cent (and kind of Snoop Dogg). "All I want to do is sit in the studio with that person for a year and try to create another masterpiece," he said. All you music lovers there, we have now uploaded the latest albums of Bachna Ae Haseeno, Singh Is Kinng and God Tussi Great Ho. I was in particularly waiting for Bachna Ae Haseeno as that song remains one of my favorite Chintu songs. And now that his son is playing the lead it becomes all the more interesting. Add to that, Sumit Kumar has sung the title song in parts, which was originally sung by his genius dad Kishore Da. Vishal Shekhar have done good to keep bits and pieces from the original track to remind you of that golden voice not that you would have forgotten it. The other song which calls for continuous replay is Khuda Jaane by KK and Shilpa Rao. There is something in KK's voice - that somewhat haunting feel, which I like. Go, listen and rate the tracks here. The next album Singh Is Kinng impressed me the first time its promotions came on air. "Ek color ke terah patte, terah patto mein bus ek king..." by Mika, Neeraj Shridhar, Ashish Pandit and the latest sensation Hard Kaur got me hooked to it. It's such a foot tapping number that it's tough not to like it. And when you have Snoop Dogg sporting a turban and lending his voice for a Bollywood movie for the first time, trust things to be grand. RDB has mixed his song "Singh is Kinng" where Akshay Kumar too gets to croon a few lines. Talli Hua is another fun number. I am hoping the movie would be as impressive as its music. The concert was initially scheduled to take place in Ramat Gan. The city was built on the ruins of the Palestinian village of Salama (Arabic: سلمة), whose 7,807 Palestinian residents were ethnically cleansed on April 25th, 1948 by Zionist militias -- three weeks before the State of Israel came into existence and the surrounding Arab armies attacked. The residents of this village were among the more than 700,000 Palestinians ethnically cleaned from their homeland in 1948. The concert was however moved later to Rishon Lezion, a city that began as a Zionist settlement in 1882. The campaign asking Snoop to not perform in Israel is part of a larger movement calling for a boycott. The Palestinian Campaign for the Academic and Cultural Boycott of Israel (PACBI) and small Israeli groups were the first to write letters to Snoop. American activists soon followed. One Palestinian solidarity activist wrote in a letter to Snoop: Because of its support, many artists respecting the boycott of Apartheid South Africa also boycotted Israel at the time, including Bob Marley.
