I'm somewhat familiar with the NES redesign, but not as much with the Snes. Is it worth paying a little bit more to get one because it's newer or is the original model so durable that it doesn't matter anyway? It'd be nice if it didn't get really yellow with age like the old ones did. Growing up in the 90's, the Super Nintendo holds a special place in my memory as far as gaming consoles go. From the hours wasted trying to get every Yoshi Coin and exit in Super Mario World to the amazement of the "advanced graphics" of Starfox, to the fun I had playing Mario Kart. That’s a Snes you’re looking at up there. The portablized version is detailed over at benheck.com forums. Lots of photos from every angle show the creation in all its glory. Nicely done.
