I'm trying to compile DVDStyler on Slackware 12.1. Per the INSTALL file, I've installed the dependencies. When I run ./configure it fails with: checking for stdint.h... yeschecking for unistd.h... yeschecking wxSVG/svg.h usability... yeschecking wxSVG/svg.h presence... yeschecking for wxSVG/svg.h... yeschecking if wxWindows was linked with GTK2... yeschecking for pkg-config... /usr/bin/pkg-configchecking pkg-config is at least version 0.9.0... yeschecking for GNOMEUI2... yeschecking for LIBEXIF... yeschecking for av_register_all in -lavformat... noconfigure: error: *** missing ffmpeg library: libavformat The error seems to indicated libavformat is missing, but I have ffmpeg installed: root@rockriver:~# ffmpeg -vFFmpeg version SVN-r14516, Copyright (c) 2000-2008 Fabrice Bellard, et al. configuration:  libavutil version: 49.7.0 libavcodec version: 51.62.0 libavformat version: 52.18.0 libavdevice version: 52.0.0 built on Aug 4 2008 11:28:23, gcc: 4.2.3  So, it appears to be properly installed.
