NAVARRE — A Santa Rosa County Sheriff’s Office lieutenant arrested Tuesday face additional charges, according to the Florida Department of Law Enforcement. John Mitchell Tomlinson, 46, of Navarre, has been charged with five counts of sexual battery on a child under 12, according to a news release from the FDLE. Tomlinson originally was charged with 120 counts of sexual battery on a child between the ages of 12 and 18, the news release said. Tomlinson is being held at the Walton County Jail on $500,000 bond.
