I see that that latest version of DD-WRT (v24 SP1) was released recently and includes fixes for the DNS exploit that's been making the news recently. Unfortunately, I'm encountering a bug in SP1 that prevents me from assigning a virtual SSID to its own VLAN, and dropping back to v24 "fixes" the issue. Since the DD-WRT folks seem to be releasing new SP1 builds every few days, I suspect that the current release may need a few more revisions before it's up to the stability of the previous release. Anyway, I get to my question: Is running DD-WRT v24 non-SP1, which doesn't include the DNS patch, risky? I'll be using OpenDNS. Thanks! -- God is just pretend. ...
