Green Bay -- Quarterback Aaron Rodgers was on the field with his shoulder pads on, but he took part only in the walk-through portion of practice and did not throw as the Packers hit the field for their second practice of the week. The plan was for the doctors to evaluate Rodgers after a strenuous rehab workout Wednesday and see whether he was ready to throw today. Apparently, they decided to wait another day. Rodgers looked loose and excited about being at practice and caught balls from the other quarterbacks during individual drills. Coach Mike McCarthy will address the injury situation after practice. As for the rest of the workout, held outside in sunny but windy conditions on Clarke Hinkle Field: -- Rookie running back Kregg Lumpkin (hamstring) returned to practice for the first time since suffering his injury against Dallas. He was in pads and running at full speed, so it's likely he took part in the full practice that the media doesn't get to watch. -- Safety Atari Bigby (hamstring) didn't make it back today. He tested the injury this week but apparently the medical staff didn't think he was ready to come back, so he watched practice in sweats. -- Tackle Chad Clifton (hamstring) took part in the jog-through portion of practice and seemed to be moving OK. He took snaps with the No. 1 unit. It still isn't a given that he will start Sunday. -- Ends Jason Hunter (hamstring), end Mike Montgomery (ankle) and receiver James Jones ... Green Bay - Another busy week on the injury front. Here's what we saw: QB Aaron Rodgers (shoulder) went through the walkthroughs and then exited for rehab. He did not attempt a pass but was very lively and had a good bounce in his step. He did do the throwing motion and then didn't release the ball. Last week, Rodgers appeared like he didn't want to move he was in so much pain. Players that went through the walk through and then left: Rodgers, CB Charles Woodson, LB A.J. Hawk, LT Chad Clifton, WR James Jones. Players that were out: S Atari Bigby, RB Kregg Lumpkin, CB Al Harris, DE Jason Hunter, DT Ryan Pickett, DE Michael Montgomery. TE Jermichael Finley was not on the field for the first 75 minutes of practice. He then appeared in pads, got stretched and particpated. FB Korey Hall and S Aaron Rouse were back. Despite not having an offensive line, no punter, and no actual NFL players, the Sheboygan Ragamuffins are 6.5-point favorites over the Seattle Seahawks this week. Chad Rankin, a seventh-grade science teacher and Ragamuffin GM, tried to play down the fact that his team of stat lines was favored over an actual NFL team. "I know Ben Roethlisberger's been big for the Ragamuffin organization the past few weeks," Rankin said, "but he's on his bye this week." The Ragamuffins are 5-0 heading into Week Six, following a hard-fought, 132-121 contest with the Eau Claire Pincushions. "I was down six points heading into Monday night. I was worried, because I only had the Saints defense/special teams in my starting lineup. Luckily, Reggie Bush had some big returns for us and put us over the top," Rankin said. This week's matchup is like nothing the team has ever faced before. "Last year's championship game was pretty intense. I had to buy a new mouse after wearing the old one down with all the refresh button clicks. But nothing compares to facing a real NFL team," said Rankin. Despite the spread, Rankin knows that there are some big mismatches the Seahawks will want to exploit. "First of all, their defensive line is going to have a big day. We literally have no one to protect Gus (Frerotte) and no one to block for Steve (Slaton)," he said. "Still, I think they'll have big games for us on Sunday," he added.
