In both Firefox and Windows, if you press Command+Enter with a word in the address bar, it adds the "www." and the ".com" and pulls up the web site in the active window. In Safari, the same action opens the page in a new tab/window. I'd prefer it to be in the active window/tab. I looked through preferences, but couldn't find anything. AFAIK, google is only following the law. The Chinese government has the right to govern their country any way they see fit and if google wants to do business there, then they have to play ball. We condemn China for spying on their own citizens but what about US government eves dropping on phone calls and such We condemn China for human rights violations, what about the human rights violations that goes on in our own country.
