I've been noticing. When I open my Computer double click on my other drive (which is where i keep all my files) sometimes windows explorer just stays / hangs there like if it not responding. Its been a few occasions where I'm on gmail and sending something from my drive (image or so) and browser hangs since i guess its trying to open the drive. I looked into my event viewer and this is what I see. What does this mean? An error was detected on device \Device\Harddisk0\D during a paging operation. ...

Hello! I have a strange problem on VMW Workstation 6.5.0, running on Windows XP SP3. When I start a virtual machine with memory set to 256MB, the vmware-vmx.exe process corresponding to this vm use 430MB on the host when the guest OS is fully started. I tried to play with the memory trimming setting and with the " Allow some VMs to be swapped " without success. All my VMs have VMWTools installed. upgraded to MS XP SP3 and rebooted. Now I am getting the following message: Windows could not start because the following file is missing or corrupt biosinfo.inf I dont have the OS CD that came with the Dell desktop. After installing SP3, we have noticed some GPO problems with our XP systems. When we run RSoP, we find that there are several new sections under Administrative Templates that are in foreign languages. Some appear to be in French, Russian and even Arabic. Thank you for responding Andrew, but as I said, I get no video at all, nothing shows up on the monitor. So, I have no idea what is going on in the machine. The only evidence that at least part of POST is running is that the lights on the DVD and CDROM drives flash briefly. As I also stated, I have tried F8 and F2, and again no effect, the monitor remains blank.
