“Indestructible”, the forthcoming album from Disturbed, is now available for pre-order at BestBuy.com. The album, which was self-produced and is the follow-up to “Ten Thousand Fists”, will be released by Reprise Records on June 3rd, 2008.
In celebratory fashion, Best Buy and Harmonix are giving away two free Rock Band tracks for anyone who pre-orders the album. These free tracks for Rock Band are from the forthcoming album “Indestructible” and include the title track “Indestructible” and “Inside the Fire”. These exclusive pre-order tracks are for the Xbox 360 version of the game.

The Wii version of Rock Band may not be getting any downloadable content, but Harmonix and Electronic Arts are still throwing Wii owners a bone in the form of the Rock Band Track Pack Volume 1. The track pack will apparently be a standalone disc that doesn't require the original disc. Track progression will be linear like Guitar Hero . IGN says that either the disc will have a new set list or the new tracks will be available in free mode. As previously reported , the Track Pack for the Wii and PS2 versions of Rock Band will become available on July 15 for US 29.99.

The Get Out Clause -- an unsigned Band from Manchester, England -- has used the eyes of the surveillance state to produce its own music video . While Britain currently has an estimated 13-million closed-circuit TV cameras (CCTV), the Band only played to 80 of them around the city of Manchester. After playing its song for the CCTV cameras (and anyone else who happened to be around), the Band requested the footage from the organizations that own the cameras, under the UK's Freedom of Information Act. While only about 20 of the locations eventually turned over the footage, they had more than enough footage to make a pretty solid music video. "We wanted to produce something that looked good and that wasn't too expensive to do," guitarist Tony Churnside told Sky News. Seems the Freedom of Information act could have saved Kevin Smith a bunch of money when he made ' Clerks .' We really wonder if this is the last time we'll see this tricky way of filming (actually, it's not, as Adam Rifkin's recent ' Look ' proved).
