Whether it is a fat panda, a lonely robot or a guy in armour with a sword, I'm sure most of us over a certain age get bored very quickly with the marketing blitz that accompanies each and every release of a kids' film these days. And of course along with that comes the obligatory multi-platform cash-in - and The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian fulfils its side of the deal in this respect. I've been taking a look at the PS3 version of the game, although name the console and there is of course a version for you. ... Source: www.boxxet.com --- 50 days ago

A darker, more adult look at the world of Narnia A lot has changed since we last visited Narnia in The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe. Although it has only been a year in the real world, 1300 years have passed since Peter (William Moseley), Susan (Anna Popplewell), Edmund (Skandar Keynes), and Lucy (Georgie Henley) stepped back into the wardrobe, leaving the magical world behind. Aslan seems... ... Source: miracle-pictures.com --- 49 days ago
The allotment is one of the United Kingdom’s greatest achievements, unrepeated I believe anywhere else. In exchange for moving in to shoeboxes stacked upon each other the British poor were given a back garden somewhere else - a nearby shared field converted into small plots where they could grow some food and still experience something [...] ... 'Prince Caspian' is the second instalment of C.S. Lewis's seven-part fantasy series. If you expect to escape into an enthralling kingdom of candid wonder and colourful magic, you'll be disenchanted. In Narnia, things never happen the same way twice. Gracious fauns and Turkish Delight have been replaced with betrayal, violence and predictable revenge..... ... I’ll preface this rant by stating I have been a life long fan or the Chronicles of Narnia series. I re-read the books every couple of years (time allowing), and still thoroughly enjoy them. This being said, I walked into my local Famous Players with moderate hopes of this movie being acceptable. My hopes were [...] ... Source: zomgee.com --- 44 days ago
Anticipation is what killed the last Narnia movie for me. I prepared myself for its much hailed arrival by reading the books for the first time and even by going back to the original British version and watching what were some of my favorite movies as a child. Many Narniacs were thrilled at the prospect of seeing Prince Caspian on the big screen this year. But many of us were less than thrilled at the result. To be fair, the movie was good for what it was - the special effects, fight scenes, and dramatic moments were all well-done. The problem lies in [...] ... A disappointing sequel that suffers from too many familiar Hollywood ills. One of the major problems with all film series is what might be called middle filmitis. This is when films that are not first in a series rely too heavily upon an audience's memories of earlier films to inform them of the traits of characters, the chronology of prior events, and a general knowledge of the world the film series is set in. Such... ... Source: subs.zinester.com --- 19 days ago
