Two battle reports versus Elkerlyc his Chaos Minions. AdMech vs Chaos Some weeks ago, so short and only summary: AdMech Lunar Gothic Defiant Strike Cruiser 3x Gladius Chaos 12th Hades + Lord Devastation x2 Carnage Summary Early on I (the AdMech) managed to reduce the Hades which was positioned too far away to 1 hit, then it disengaged. Then Chaos did everything right. Keeping distance, moving at full speed using long range weapons to whittle me down. I did score lots of ‘6’’s when taking down ordnance waves but in the end, as Chaos kept my Defiant on BFI, I lost out on ordnance. I also never got in range with my fleet except some Pod shots from the Strike Cruiser and Gladii. In the end all my ships where crippled and I conceded. Good show of skill by Elkerlyc. Hey guys! First off, I've really enjoyed this forum. Have been a frequent reader for quite a while now...but here's my first post. I was looking at the newer Line 6 Pod X3 line yesterday and one of the things that really peaked my interested was the dual tone capability ( http://www.line6.com/podx3live/tour.html ). I'm currently using (and loving) my Tonelab SE. I also have a Tonelab Desktop that's been sitting in its box ever since I got the SE. Then the thought came to me....what about using BOTH? I could split my guitar signal and go into both the SE and DT....each setup with a different (but complimentary) amp/cabinet patch. Instead of sending my PA board the Left & Right out of my SE, I'd send it the SE Left and the DT Left. Wouldn't this be a lot like the Pod X3's dual tone capability?...albeit a somewhat convoluted work-around.
