The promised 1.01 patch for Uncharted: Drake's Fortune has hit the decidedly charted PAL Regions of the world, unlocking PlayStation 3 trophy support for one of the console's greatest titles. The patch, which weighs in at a modest 13 megs, unlocks 47 trophies that coincide with the achievements already built into the game, along with a 48th platinum trophy for unlocking all of the other trophies. Already unlocked all of the game's achievements? Well start a new game and unlock them again, as they won't be applied retroactively due to cheating concerns. Hey wondering if any1 can shed some light on my question, firstly i know the D2pro9 comes region free, if you dont bridge the jumpers it sets the region on insertion of the first disc you put in(grand), what the hell do you do when you want to play say an NTSC game?? any1, do you just run the utility disc to wipe the flash? And other question gamecube games, i dont play them but should they work straight away? whats the story with the Regions on them aswell? Basically i installed a D2pro9 for a friend, has mailed me there saying it won't play a ntsc original? the Wii is PAL and ofcourse i loaded a PAL game first to set the region, how does the d2pro9 region free work? he said it wudnt load GC games? im not sure if there out of region also? Well the Tokyo Game Show for 2008 officially opens on October 9 but it seems that Square Enix already has some pretty exciting news for us! In a press release Square Enix has announced that Star Ocean: First Departure will be coming to PAL Regions this October. Star Ocean: First Departure is a remake of the original Star Ocean game for the Super Nintendo. The remake features new scenarios, characters, animated movies, and many other bonus features. The game takes place a planet called Roak, where they must "unravel a mystery and halt a galactic war." The Wiikey team has released version 2 of their modchip. Changes look mostly related to performance, although there is now added support for "problem titles" such as Mario Kart Wii and Super Smash Bros. Brawl. There's also a new 8 Mbit onboard flash, and diskspeed is now configurable via DVD. Dual Layer seems to be fully supported now as well.
