Ahh a topic of much debate! And with good reason.  Firstly, not everyone can achieve their desired result with this mini-procedure.  The purpose of the procedure is to avoid the cost, down time and risks of traditional, surgical rhinoplasty with the use of injectable fillers such as Restylane, Juvederm, or Radiesse. To be a good candidate for this procedure, you either have to have a dent or deficiency, a very low bridge, or a small bump which can be camouflaged by building up the surrounding areas.  Obviously the “ideal patient” window is a pretty narrow fit.  If you wish to remove your bump, this procedure is not for you.  In fact, the injections make your Nose slightly larger overall by adding augmentation. Although the end result seems to grant the bump a disappearing act. The cost for non-surgical rhinoplasty alone is enough to cause one to consider the procedure.  The price for a non-surgical Nose Job ranges between $500 and $1500. depending upon the product used, and the amount needed for correction.  Not ready for a surgical rhinoplasty, or you want to “try on” a new Nose for size before taking the surgical plunge, maybe the non-surgical approach is for you. ...

Maybe you've heard, but I have teens. And genetically speaking (look at me) they are all adorable. My Little One is 15, (side bar, I know, I promise) and she takes a beating in this blog. She give me the most fuel for the fire. So this is a "be nice to Little One day". Why? Well...I don't really give names, but lets just say her name is "Snarky". So Snarky came home the other day and said, Conner(also 15) called me Snarky Crooked Nose today. Do you need me to call his mother, because I'm all over that? No, I don't care...he's so stupid. You know you are gorgeous. Yeah, I know. Ok, self-obsessed overly conceited teen returns. Little One has a little bump on the bridge of her Nose. She has been picked on since she was in elementary school. The way I see it, when you are that cute, stupid boys have to find some way to talk to you and since they act like 12 year olds, you have to take it for what it's worth...and then you call their mothers... 15 minutes later... Would you ever let me get my Nose fixed? {{{{WTF?}}}}} You know, if you got the bump removed you wouldn't look the same and the cuteness would be gone. Yes the Bengals may be winless but that is not to be taken for granted. This team has lots of weapons especially on the offensive side of the ball. This offense is very explosive and can put up points in a hurry. Yeah Carson is hurting and yeah both of his wide outs are unhappy playing for a losing BUT they each have a Job to do and pride to go with it. This game will be a true test for both teams For Them They badly need a win and what better way to get in the Win column versus the celebrated Dallas Cowboys. Jay Ratliff, a seventh-round pick who was hardly a star at Auburn, is having the best season of any Cowboys' defensive player. Better than Greg Ellis. Even better than DeMarcus Ware. And it's not even close. Ratliff is playing that well. He has 20 tackles, which might not sound like much after five games. For a Nose guard, it's a fantastic number. That's because he's the one player who knows he's going to get double-teamed every play. It doesn't matter. He does a wonderful Job of combining his skill of quickly shedding blockers and playing with the confines of Wade Phillips' slanting defense to make play after play after play this season in his first season as a full-time starter. He started 15 games last season, but a season-ending injury to Jason Ferguson provided the impetus. Ratliff played so well last year that Dallas signed him to a six-year deal worth $20 million and turned over the Nose guard position to him. He has done more than uphold his end of the bargain. He also has three sacks, making him one of the Cowboys' best pass rushers. He's relentless on the field and plays with a passion that spreads to his teammates. Here's some perspective: Ratliff is only 10 tackles shy of the career high he set last year and needs one sack to tie his career-high set two years ago. NEAH BAY (Sept. 23, 2008)--Ariela Rascon, scrunches up her Nose at the smell emanating from the river otter she is about to cut open, but confidently proceeds to slice its stomach open anyway. The 18-year-old Makah tribal member is learning to perform a necropsy or animal autopsy to determine the cause of death as part of the tribe's summer youth program. Students learn about various natural resource jobs within the tribe by Job-shadowing employees and performing some of the same tasks. "I like the program," said Rascon. "It's interesting and I've learned a lot." While Rascon is dealing with a river otter, two other Makah tribal students are performing a necropsy on a harbor porpoise and a harbor seal. The animals were found washed up on the beaches near Neah Bay. Jonathan Scordino, Marine mammal biologist for the tribe, stores them in a freezer until the necropsy can be performed. When possible, Scordino performs the necropsies and submits the results to the relevant state or federal agency. The students performed their work under the supervision of both Scordino and Pat Gearin, a marine biologist with the National Marine Fisheries Service's National Marine Mammal Lab. "It's common to find harbor seal pups who haven't figured out how to find food," Gearin told Dominick DeBari, 18, and Ernie Grimes, 21. "Mothers leave them to fend for themselves at 5 months."
