Fotinet's FortiDB family of database security appliances now provides vulnerability assessment (VA) support for MySQL Enterprise from Sun Microsystems. The Sunnyvale, Calif., company said the appliances safeguard against enterprise data concerns that cross over deeply into open source applications.
