A Burlington teen died at Waterbury Hospital Monday night from injuries sustained in a Motorcycle Crash on Route 72 in Plymouth. Sgt. Jay Biernacki said Benjamin Perotti lost control of his 2008 Kawasaki Motorcycle at about 6:48 p.m. when he failed to navigate the corner, heading north, about 200 feet from Bemis Street. His bike slid across the road and struck an oncoming car. Biernacki said Perotti was wearing a helmet. A South Carolina man involved in a Crash that left two Clearwater men dead was arrested Tuesday after police said he tried to drive away from the scene of the accident. Jimmy Dunn, 58, of Anderson, S.C., left, was stopped by a witness shortly after the 9:44 p.m. Crash. Investigators say he was intoxicated when he steered into the path of a 1999 Suzuki Motorcycle. Killed in the accident were the Motorcycle's driver, Harold S. Davis, 25, and his passenger Jason Hennis, 24. Police said Davis and Hennis were riding south on Keene Road when Dunn's 1992 Oldsmobile, which had been headed north on Keene, made a left onto Sunset Pointe Road and into the Motorcycle's path. The bike smashed into the right side of the car, and the impact ejected both men, authorities said. Davis, of 1839 Stetson Drive, was pronounced dead at the scene. Monday was to be his 26th birthday. Hennis, 1881 N Hercules Ave., Unit 1303, was flown to Bayfront Medical Center, where he later died. After the Crash, police said Dunn drove away but was stopped by a witness.
