I don't know much about Mindless Self Indulgence. I do know their music is somewhat Industrial and that Lynz is married to (cough) Gerard Way (sighs). I was gonna go alone which I had a ticket for but my sister decided last minute to go with me. We got there and the show says "SOLD OUT" which we were really down about . I was just gonna go home, I couldn't leave my sister waiting outside but then we saw a dude who was offering girls "one ticket" . I cut in front and said " i do i do". SO we got in. Birthday Massacre opend. THey were good, but I wasn't keen on the girl singer. Her voice was very kareoke. When MSI came on I was super stoked b/c my sister was gonna hear them for the 1st time and b/c it wasn't that packed so we could move around and be close at the same time. We were at the side . They played alot of songs, probably played like 2 hrs. I was really surprised. They put on a great show, they are performers no doubt, and I was really impressed by not only their stage presence but how they played LIVE. It was a great show. Lyn Z didnot do any backbends but she did crowd dive once! After seeing them LIVE I'm a fan. I was not before but now I will purchase a couple of cds. After the show, they all came out right away. Kitty is definitly the most talkative and straight up girl in the band. Tells it like it is, makes eye contact and we shared some makeup tips b/c my sister asked what she uses. OMFG. soooooooooooooo amazing!!! with the exception of MCR, it was the best gig of my life!!!!!!! so i got the metro at 5:15ish and it was full of commuters and there i was: skinny black jeans, vans, stripy vest and hoodie....plus eccentric eye make up, glow sticks and a red stripe in my hair...lookin unique?? fuck yea!!! so when i got to the uni it was raining and i went to the queue and met these 2 girls and we attempted to stay dry under this canopy thing which totally didnt work so they gave us bin liners to put over our heads...yea bin liners!!! lol so there was only abt 8 peole ahead of us in the line and we felt ever so priveledged to get bin liners!!! lol then it took forever for it to reach 7:30 and at abt quarter past 7 i was sooooooooooooo hyper!!!!! i had to check i still had my "HIP LIKE BADASS" written across my chest...unsmudged!!! indeedy it wasnt!!! so they let us in at just after 7:30 and we ran to the barrier and then i went to the merch stand and got these two amazing MSI tees!! then Rachel pulled my back to the barrier while she went to see the merch!! the support band were called Scanners and they were really good except as part of their stage set up they had these two t.v. sets with fuzzy screens whi ...
