Phazon Suit Samus. Being infected with a glowing mutagen has never looked so good! The statue is crafted entirely in transparent resin, with over 25 LED lights incorporated to give it the unhealthy Phazon glow, and the who thing is mounted on a mirror base that ties the whole effect together. Standing at 11 inches tall, Phazon Suit Samus is very pretty, but also pretty rare at only 1,500 pieces worldwide, and pretty expensive at $US 224.99. If you've got the funs and are so inclined, hit up the order page immediately to make sure you get yours when they are released in early 2009. I finally finished playing Metroid Prime 3: Corruption today.  I haven't had as much time for gaming these days as in the past.  So this post is really for those who haven't yet purchased the game. Straight up, MP3 is a 5 star game.  There is no faulting it.  If you like like the original Metroid Prime, you'll love MP3.  Some review sites refused to rate MP3 higher than Metroid Prime because it's not as ground breaking, but this is stupid.  We don't rate every FPS game lower than Wolfenstein 3D because it was the one that made the leap to 3D.  MP3 is better than Metroid Prime and deserves a rating that suggests so. So why is it better?  MP3 is proof that the Wii is not Gamecube v1.5.  MP3 is visually stunning.  The screen shots I seen before playing the game didn't impress me that much, since Metroid Prime, and Metroid Prime Echoes were both beautiful games as well.  But seeing MP3 in motion is amazing. Using the wii-mote to aim in MP3 works beautifully.  Although it's best to use the advanced configuration option.  You still get to z-targetting which keeps your enemy centre of your view, but you aim anywhere within that view.   This is also one of few games that uses gestures well.  Yanking back on the nun-chuck allows you to pull away enemies shields or armor.  Other gestures are used to open doors, or remove objects.  It's all done well, adds a comfortable amount of interactivity, and never feels clumsy. Olha qual o slogan que a nintendo criou para o jogo: "Stop the unstoppable Dark Samus"... Só pelo slogan da pra perceber que o jogo e ação pura do inicio ao fim não e mesmo!!! "Metroid Prime 3" foi o primeiro game importante da Nintendo criado e pensado para o hardware do Wii ( Super Paper Mario e The Legend of Zelda Twilight Princess eram games de GameCube ). E isso fica evidente a cada centímetro. O uso de cores perfeito, um design exuberante, um design de inimigos e chefes amplo e rico e uma velocidade impressionante, Corruption roda a 60fps constantes, tornam o visual do game praticamente perfeito. As cenas não interativas, também impressionam pela dramaticidade com que foram construídas. O visual do game prova que o Wii está muito à frente do seu antecessor o GameCube . A trilha sonora é um show à parte. As composições de Kenji Yamamoto, que também compôs as trilhas dos Primes anteriores, combinam perfeitamente com o ambiente. That's fine, EA. You take all the time you need before announcing your Batman game . In the meantime, we'll make do with this one. Announced today by the folks at Game Informer, Batman: Arkham Asylum is a new title currently in development at Rocksteady Studios (Urban Chaos: Riot Response), which will be published by Eidos. Why the different publishers? EA only have the rights to the movies , while Eidos have a deal to make games based on the Batman comics . Hence this game, which GI describe as being "reminiscent of Bioshock". With a story written by Paul Dini, and art by the team at Wildstorm comics, the game will be set exclusively in and around Arkham Asylum, which has been taken over by the Joker. The asylum will be a contained, persistent location, making the game feel more like Riddick or BioShock than other more recent, more open-world superhero titles. The Joker's not alone, either: because they hold the comics license, Batman will also be up against the Riddler, Mr. Freeze, Penguin, Harley Quinn, Scarecrow, Poison Ivy and more. Gameplay won't just be about combat, either. Batman's a detective, see, so there'll be investigative work (puzzles, etc) to be done as well, including extensive use of what sounds a lot like Metroid Prime's scanning system. The game has been out for a while, but it looks like the wife and I have finally decided to get this game. However, this thing is selling out in a matter of hours whenever the shelves are re-stocked. I think this is the first time that I have ever felt the need to hunt down and secure a copy of the game. I didn't have to worry about Wii hunting, because the Wii was given to me as a gift. I have purchased Metroid Prime 3, Super Smash Bros. Brawl, and Guitar Hero 3 all on the launch date, and I didn't have a pre-order. So, the hunt begins for the illusive Wii Fit.
