This is the website of the jewellery collection from the Maritime National Museum (MNM). The Museum has approximately 448 jewellery items dating from the 16th to the late 20th century. The collection consists mainly of seals, watches, brooches, buckles and lockets. There is a selection of mourning rings including one commemorating Vice-Admiral Horatio Nelson. There is also a pocket watch that belonged to Robert Douglas Norman, one of over 300 people travelling second-class on the Titanic. One can view the collection by type such as lockets, pendants, seals and watches. One can also browse by maker and by century.
