Another key change for the Eagles is at quarterback. Last year's starter, Garrett Gould, has opted to skip football this season to focus on baseball. Gould threw for more than 1,700 yards as a junior and was going to be one to the team's bright spots this year. After scoring eight goals in Monday's win over Emporia, the Eagles continued to produce Wednesday in a 5-0 win over South. Maize will play Dodge City, a 5-1 winner over Hutchinson, in Saturday's Red Bracket final. "We just try to out work people and to play unselfishly," Maize coach Mike Darrah said.
