Es increíble la cantidad de cosas que puedes encontrar en Internet, dando un paseillo, de click en click, de página en página. Buscando alguna foto simpática de MIKE MYERS para el post del otro día, sobre su participación en ‘Inglorious Bastards’ , me encontré con el vídeo que os he dejado arriba. Se trata de un anuncio de la MTV , avisando al personal sobre sus famosos premios cinematográficos (los MTV Movie Awards), en su última edición , la que se celebró este pasado mes de junio. En él, vemos a MYERS vestido en plan Leónidas en ‘300’, pero representando a Hollywood , como si fuese un ángel responsable de todas esas cosas típicas que vemos en las películas que nos llegan de allí (y de aquí y de todas partes, en realidad, es inevitable la influencia). No soy fan de MIKE MYERS , no me parece ese tipo tan gracioso que supuestamente es, pero tengo que reconocer que me he reído varias veces con este vídeo. According to a report in Variety, Canadian comic actor MIKE MYERS -- best known for his roles as Austin Powers, Wayne Campbell, and the voice of Shrek -- is joining the cast of Quentin Tarantino's latest film, the WW2 action pic Inglorious Bastards . According to the article, "MYERS will play British Gen. Ed Fenech, a military mastermind who takes part in hatching a plot to wipe out Nazi leaders." It's a strange move for MYERS, but may prove to be astute; he needs to rebound from his last film, the much-maligned The Love Guru , which bombed at the box office.
