Alumni soccer game this Sunday Alumni from the first Abington Girls Soccer team in 1983 through the Class of 2008 will be on the field   returning to their Green Wave soccer roots! This year’s first annual alumni game is slated for this Sunday, October 5, at 1 p.m. at Reilly Field.      Come on out and see how well they have faired over the years. This should be a lot of fun and very nostalgic for all of those in attendance. Green Wave Boosters will have concessions available.     Questions?  Contact Kate Abbatangelo at abba2412@verizon.net     EAB Hockey hosts car wash fundraiser   Residents are invited to join members of the Abington/East Bridgewater Hockey team for their second annual EAB Hockey Car Wash. The event, slated for Sunday, October 11, will be held at Bailey’s Garage at Orange and Washington Street from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. All proceeds will assist in future funding of the EAB Hockey program. For more information contact Debi Collins at 508-378-3139.       Wahoos swim team     The developmental swim team, the Wahoos, is open to all swimmers 7 to 16, who have reached American Red Cross swim level 5 or the equivalent. The head coach this year is Joe Smith, who has an extensive coaching history in Virginia, with the Cape Cod Swim Club, SCS Masters program and Sandwich High School.     The swim team is part of the Southeastern Massachusetts Swim League, which hosts six other teams in the South Shore area.
