I want to be a Death Knight. In the spirit of full disclosure, I’ll admit I’m a console gamer and brand new to PC gaming. And here I am at Blizzcon, trying to play the new expansion pack, Wrath of the Lich King . Cory Stockton, lead designer for WoW told me that a ton of features have been added. The first 60 levels are easier to attain, (which is good, because I’m about to start playing) the level cap has been raised to 80 and there is a brand new class, the Death Knight. He starts at level 55, by the way so you can’t have him if you’re just starting out. So my first attempt was playing as one of the undead...at level 80… Took me forever to figure it all out. God, I miss my controller. There were no instructions. But, though I’m sure everyone playing with me was laughing, I wandered around and fought monsters...I healed a fellow player as well. But no matter how much I sucked, I kicked the Frost Elemental’s ass ! I have to say, I was kind of blown away at the power level and the graphics look amazing! You have the ability to affect your environment this time around. And by that I mean blowing sh*t up. Building, trees, etc. Listening to the other players and wondering the floor, I discovered not one person complaining about anything they saw in the new WoW expansion pack. Aside from the kick ass powers and the new Hero class, you can, and I don’t mean to sound girlie here...it made me laugh...pick new hairstyles ...
