So, I just picked up the LG Chocolate 3 for Verizon. It's not on the iSync compatibility list (http://www.apple.com/macosx/features/isync/), nor does it seem to be supported by Missing Sync (http://www.apple.com/macosx/features/isync/) (not that I'm even sure Missing Sync is exactly the kind of thing I'd need here). I like the phone quite a bit, but I'd love it if i could use it with iSync. In a best case scenario, I'd be able to sync up contacts and calendars. I don't count on that, though. Even just being able to sync contacts would leave me pleased as punch. Anyone got any ideas? I know all the best Mac users have iPhones now, and I wish I could afford one (the particulars of canceling my existing contract, switching carriers, etc. would be prohibitively costly). But I can't. So. Any help? I had no trouble setting the phone up with Bluetooth Setup Assistant (it comes up as LG VX8560), and I can even send files to the phone via Bluetooth (about time, Verizon!). I had a VX8300 and I just recently *upgraded* to a Chocolate3 (VX8560 I think its called?) and my signal level is not as good as my old VX8300. Every once in a while my phone beeps to let me know that I have a voice mail message. But my phone never rang! It just went straight to voicemail! I look at the phone and my signal level will be zero. No bars. Nada. Then bam its back and I am getting 3 bars. This always seems to happen around my house. But I gave my old VX8300 to my kids and they get great signal at the house and never drop a call. Anyone else have a Chocolate3? Getting worse reception than wit your old phone? ... Our review of the LG Chocolate 3 is done! We liked its increased internal storage, the ease of use of its music player software, and its battery life when playing music and browsing the web. We didn\'t like the new flip factor at all, preferring the slick slider style of its predecessors, nor did we like its poor talk time battery life. Filed under: Handsets , LG , CDMA , US Cellular We've learned that mega-regional US Cellular has its sights set on an LG slider apparently dubbed the UX585 "Rythm" for a mid-November launch, featuring a 1.3-megapixel camera, FM transmitter a la Nokia N78 and LG Muziq , and an honest-to-goodness mechanical wheel -- a key feature for a phone touting a music slant. The theme doesn't stop there, though: the Rythm is also said to benefit from tweaking by Mark Levinson's loving ears, a QVGA display, and something being called a "Touch Music Hot Key," a trick-looking circular touchscreen in the middle of the wheel. Yeah, these guys might be a little behind the Chocolate curve here, but at least they're coming out swinging.
