The two-day concert will take place at the beautiful Koka Booth Amphitheatre in Cary, N.C. on September 19-20, 2008. Dean, who resides outside of London, England, is arguably the world's best known album cover designer. In 2002, Rolling Stone readers voted his Tales from Topographic Oceans art for the progressive rock band Yes, as the best album cover of all time. The Victoria & Albert Museum later acquired the Yes logo associated with the album for its permanent collection. Dean, also an internationally-acclaimed designer of nearly everything from typography to art to architecture, received his master's degree from the Royal College of Art in 1968 and an honorary doctorate from the San Francisco Academy of Art in 2002, which is planning an exhibition of his life's work later this year. With his brother Martyn, Roger Dean has also produced more than 100 books, many of them international best sellers.
