Straight from our inbox: To coincide with the tenth anniversary of Bedrock parties in London and the fast approaching 10th anniversary of Bedrock Records; John Digweed releases the triple-disc mix Bedrock 10 Past, Present and Future through his own Bedrock Records. Compiling and mixing a stunning collection of remixes that shine new light on the label’s back catalogue alongside the cuts that are currently representing the distinguished Bedrock sound. CD's 1 and 2 are mixed by the man himself. The third disc is an unmixed affair and features original tracks from Funk d'Void , Jim Rivers and Charlie May ( Pindrop ) plus unreleased remixes from Guy Gerber , POB , and Chab . John Digweed concludes the first chapter of his Transitions series with the highly anticipated fourth volume *_Transitions Vol. 4_*. "I've developed the amount of tracks and layering over the series," says Digweed, "And we've taken it to the next level with this latest volume, it's the most intense and intrinsic yet, which meant replacements, additions, editing and a lot of time consuming assessments and re-assessments." Over the course of 22 tracks and 73 minutes John weaves a unique musical thread. From favourites such as Ink & Needle, Guy J and Pig & Dan through to welcome debuts from Henry Saiz, Myers Briggs or Soliquid, all are concisely constructed in the mix to the point where 3 are often playing at anyone time. In fact, due the resulting complexity, John decided to re-structure the trackmark points to better reflect the more developed passages – and so twenty two records became ten for one of the most original compilations you'll hear this year and a fitting finale to the series in its current guise.
