While most moved UW up, not everybody did - Molly Yanity pushed UW down from No. 16 to No. 24 (the lowest the Badgers appeared on any ballot). The Massachusetts League of Environmental Voters (MLEV) and the Sierra Club of Massachusetts announced their endorsements of Jason Lewis for the 31st Middlesex House race, citing his strong commitment to building a new green economy. Phil Sego, chairman of the Massachusetts Sierra Club Political Committee, said Lewis “has the experience, knowledge, and courage to lead the state on environmental issues from transportation to curbing global warming gas emissions.” Lewis cited the environment and advancing clean energy as one of his top priorities, along with strengthening public schools, increasing state aid to the district, and expanding access to affordable healthcare.
