We admire her little joke today too. (Or did the Obama team do it to themselves?) Obama spoke in front of the Berlin Victory Column. Intentional (Merkel) or not (Obama), the staging spoke volumes. Obama ended his speech in front of the column with these words: "With an eye toward the future, with resolve in our hearts, let us remember this history, and answer our destiny, and remake the world once again." No. We don't like Obama much. He is a hollow man, a dangerous manipulator. German Chancellor Angela Merkel found it odd (it was damned presumptuous) that Obama asked to speak at the Brandenburg Gate. She rightly nixed his request. Fittingly, she sent him to speak (or didn't stop him from speaking) in front of the Prussian Berlin Victory Column. Did anybody in Obama's retinue, including the candidate, get it? We doubt it because if they did, they wouldn't have done it. Just how much better than Bush is this neophyte? Jeff Ballabon, a Republican consultant active in pro-Israel causes, was also baffled by the explanation of the link between green and Hamas. Why didnt he also ban the use of yellow, which is Hezbollahs color?
