It’s no surprise that the Council of Conservative Citizens (CCC), a hate group descended from the segregationist White Citizens Councils, espouses white superiority. The council has described blacks as a “retrograde species of humanity,” compared pop singer Michael Jackson to an ape, and condemned “race-mixing.” But the council has also veered increasingly toward anti-Semitism. Most recently, [...] ... Source: www.huffingtonpost.com --- 41 days ago
On July 18, the world's most prominent Holocaust Denier, David Irving, parachuted into New York City to deliver a talk to a few dozen supporters. It was Irving's first major stateside appearance since his release from an Austrian prison where the British writer spent a year for "trivializing the Holocaust" -- a crime in that country. Irving is the author of numerous books on Hitler and the Third Reich. With support from the Southern Poverty Law Center, I produced a video about Irving's New York lecture, "Springtime For Irving," containing an exclusive interview with Irving, along with a look at his Nazi sympathizing supporters. In it, Irving issues a rousing defense of Hitler, blames Jews for their own persecution, and reveals his strange friendship with Christopher Hitchens. See "Springtime for Irving: A Holocaust Denier Hits Manhattan" When I reached Irving on his cellphone 15 minutes before his talk was scheduled to begin, I learned that it has been suddenly moved to the basement of a Catholic church on the Upper East Side. Irving's advance man, Michael Santamauro (owner of the New York-based roommate service roommatefinders.com) had conned the church's priest into hosting the lecture by claiming he was the leader of an anodyne "book club." "Someone made a reservation to have a discussion of a book. The name was not David Irving. We knew nothing about it. We thought it would be just something nice for the community," the visib ... VIRGINIA IS FOR LOVERS, NOT HATERS: DAVID IRVING BLOCKED FROM ARLINGTON VENUE, GOES TO BACKUP SPOT Written by One People's Project Wednesday, 23 July 2008 Well once again we were able to cause David Irving some problems, causing him to move his little lecture in Arlington, Va, the onetime headquarters of Neo-Nazi George Lincoln Rockwell, to another location after folks down with us told the original spot what was going on. He ended up at the place we expected originally, the infamous Sala Thai restaurant. This was the place that hosted an event just before the American Renaissance conference back in February, and was the regular meeting place for the Northern Virginia chapter of the Council of Conservative Citizens. This is a good sign that yeah, like all the pundits say, the political dynamic just might be changing in Virginia! If you want to get in on the fun in your locale, all you have to know is that if Irving shows up at a public establishment, odds are he lied about who he was and what was going to take place there to secure the venue. Since they have as much freedom of association as he has freedom of speech, they are more than likely going to shut their doors to him after learning what is up. Memo to all Nazis out there, no matter what the event is, as long as you have to hide around and lie to venue owners to have even the smallest of events, it helps us more than it hinders. Then again, if you were open about your events, it ... Source: www.moreover.com --- 54 days ago

by James Oliphant Barack Obama didn't exactly receive an FTD "Thank You for Being You" bouquet from the Rev. Rick Warren. In an interview with the website BeliefNet, Warren, who sponsored the forum at the Saddleback church in California Saturday, cast doubt on the ability of Democrats to reach evangelicals and so-called "values voters" and he said attempts at outreach by Obama to that community are likely to fail. Why? No getting past the abortion issue, to which Warren made a rather incendiary comparison to the Holocaust: BeliefNet: Before last night, McCain had been widely criticized by Christian activists for keeping mum about his faith and about values issues like abortion and marriage Last night seemed to change that. How much headway did McCain make among skeptical evangelicals? Warren: I'm a pastor, I'm not a prophet, so I would not predict how evangelicals are going to vote. I will tell you they're not monolith. That's a big myth. They're going to make up their minds based on the hierarchy of their values. For many evangelicals, of course, if they believe that life begins at conception, that's a deal breaker for a lot of people. If they think that life begins at conception, then that means that there are 40 million Americans who are not here [because they were aborted] that could have voted. They would call that a Holocaust and for them it would like if I'm Jewish and a Holocaust Denier is running for office. I don't care ...

A Holocaust-denying historian appeared this month at an Upper East Side church, where he reiterated his claim that the Holocaust never happened. David Irving, 70, spoke Wednesday at St. Stephen of Hungary Parish, a Catholic church on East 82nd Street. A clergyman there said the church was not aware of Mr. Irving's views on the Holocaust and was told that a small group wanted the space to discuss a book. "We had no idea whatsoever, and in fact they never told us the nature of their meeting,"... ... Source: www.dominionpaper.ca --- 28 days ago
OTTAWA, ON- Aug 6th, 2008- what began as a fairly balanced description of the historical record of the creation of Israel in Palestine, quickly became yet another bipartisan speech of the Liberal party. Strongly criticizing Stephen Harper and the Conservative Party’s actions in regard to Israel/Palestine, Liberal Party External Affairs critic Bob Rae failed to provide any concrete actions his own party intends to take. “It was the emergence of modern Zionism that would set the stage for modern conflict,” He began. His proposed solution to this roughly century-long conflict is “recognition of two states, new governance for Jerusalem, limited right of return, and generous funding of a Palestinian state.” Contradicting himself several times throughout his speech, Rae paid lip service to the social justice movement while adding to the pile of anti-Iran rhetoric. “Iran’s president is a Holocaust Denier and refers to Israel by what can only be described as the most hateful of terms." “Our role should not be of simple neutrality,” he said, adding, “Our friendship with Israel by no means can be indifferent to the Palestinian claim [for self-governance].” When challenged on his proposed plan of action, he reverted back to mediating and perpetuating the aging peace-process. Meanwhile, he admitted, “I don’t think the process today is particularly transparent.” He further added to the confusion by concluding “it’s the parties themselves that ... Heidi Beirich writes at Alternet: FOX News Calls White Supremacist, Holocaust Denier and Anti-Semite a 'Free Speech Activist'. On the Live Desk 8/4/08, FOX correspondent Steve Brown presented a clip from Paul Fromm, identified only as a "free speech activist," about complaints of hate speech brought against frequent FOX guest Mark Steyn. But FOX failed to reveal Fromm's own reputation as "Canada's most notorious extremist, whose views form a trifecta of hate: he's a white supremacist, a Holocaust Denier and an anti-Semite. And he's got a history of extremism a mile long." Beirich doesn't argue the pros or cons of Steyn's prosecution in Canada, but rather focuses on Fromm's background and FOX's failure to let viewers know exactly whose views they were listening to. This is another example of FOX presenting "experts" whose credentials leave something to be desired. Video from the August 4th program: ... Source: digg.com --- 22 days ago

Somehow, someway, a bit of slime oozed its way into a Manhattan church to insinuate itself into that fair city and thereby contaminate it. Somehow, I managed to miss it. Sadly, the world's most famous Holocaust Denier, David Irving , is touring the U.S. to give aid and comfort to anti-Semites, racists, and Nazi wannabes all throughout the United States . I can't figure out why he's allowed in the U.S., but somehow he is, and he takes full advantage of the situation to replenish his coffers with the dollars of the American white power ranger Jew-hater contingent, all the while claiming he is not an anti-Semite or a Holocaust Denier. This time around, The Huffington Post actually did something useful. Rather than its usual provision of a convenient, high traffic repository for the blather of idiots like David Kirby and all things anti-vaccine, it published an a rticle by Max Blumenthal about David Irving's recent visit to Manhattan that exposes the man in all his unctuously dishonest "glory," pandering to the New York city racist contingent: Read the rest of this post... | Read the comments on this post... ... Check out this absurd post at Barrett's campaign website. The Cap Times regularly informs its readers that the estimated number of Iraqi civilian deaths due to the US invasion and occupation is under 100,000. As of the most recent print edition, the number listed was 89,900. The sources listed are the Defense Department, iraqbodycount.org, and nationalpriorities.org. The Lancet, one of the world's most prestigious medical journals, says the real number was over 650,000 back in 2006. That means that the real number, as of mid-2008, is well over a million. Combining that estimate with Australian physician Gideon Polya's historical study, we find that a total of 8.6 million Iraqis have been murdered by Anglo-American wars, interventions and sanctions since 1950. You can probably guess where the Boy Wonder's going with this; the Capitol Times is a Holocaust-denying publication. Never mind that almost everybody discounts the Lancet study. For starters, it was funded by George Soros. No other estimate has even been in the same ballpark: New research published by The New England Journal of Medicine estimates that 151,000 people - less than a quarter of The Lancet estimate - have died since the invasion in 2003. Iraq Body Count, which has been tracking confirmed deaths since the war began and has no incentive to undercount, estimates somewhere close to 90,000 civilians have died, and as others have pointed out, those "civilians" are disproporti ... You will all be pleased to hear that an American Holocaust Denier and Neo-Nazi has set up a web site to honor what he regards as "Righteous Jews," meaning anti-Semitic self-hating Jews and those working against Israel. It is supposed to imitate the "Righteous Gentiles" honors by Yad Vashem. Many of those so honored are Israeli leftist academics. The "Righteous Jews" web site is run by one Daniel McGowan , a notorious Holocaust Denier (see this for details). Gowen was once a lecturer at Hobart and William Smith College in Geneva, New York, now retired. For more on McGowen's Nazi activities see this , this , and this . The test for inclusion in the list is supposed to be that the recipient of the "award" helped to "Commemorate Palestinians who have been depopulated, dispossessed, humiliated, tortured, and murdered by the Zionists." Among Israeli academics so honored by the Neo-Nazi web site are Adi Ophir, Aharon Shabtai, Amnon Raz-Krakotzkin, Anat Biletzki, Ariella Azulay, Avishai Ehrlich, Avraham Oz, Boaz Evron, Daphna Golan, Haim Bresheeth, Haim Yacobi, Ilan Pappe, Moshe Machover, Moshe Zuckermann, Nurit Peled Elhanan, Oren Ben-Dor, Oren Yiftachel, Orit Kamir, Yigal Arens, Uri Davis, Shimshon Bichler, Uri Hadar, Ruchama Marton, Yitzhak Laor, Zalman Amit.
