Hiked to the top of the "chief" in Squamish today and my legs are killing merofl Anywho, Headed to Vancouver island for a week and a half sail between Victoria and a bit north of Nanaimo. My question is not at all related to freediving (as it is way too cold here:blackeye!) But Im looking to do some flyfishing on the island. Just wondering if anyone has any advice for that general area. Ive heard the steelehead fishing is fun but it is a $64 permit so .... Is it worth it? Ive also heard the pink salmon are running.
