Some cool stuff here. Our online producer Anthony Roberts did a great job arranging various video and audio clips from Big 12 media days. Some of these are from Monday, some from today. Barry Turner talks here about the motivation that comes with Nebraska being underdogs this year and Matt Slauson talks here about the change in summer conditioning philosophy with a new Husker staff. At one point yesterday, Turner said he has "amnesia" whenever anyone wants to talk about last season. Said Slauson: "The difference with Bo (Pelini) is really he's still a player. He wants to get out there and play. I don't know how old the guy is, but I think in his heart he's about 18, 20. He wants to strap it on and play with us every day and I think that intensity that he brings is huge for us." Here's Gary Pinkel talking to reporters about his lack of surprise on last year's success for Missouri. The Oklahoma State football team completed its second practice of fall camp Friday afternoon and the Cowboys will have little recovery time before returning to drills. Oklahoma State has another workout 8:15 a.m. Saturday as the practice will precede Media Day (noon) and Fan Day (4 p.m.) in Stillwater. On Friday, for the second consecutive day, head coach Mike Gundy liked what he saw from newcomers on the defensive side of the ball. "We had another good day with a lot of enthusiasm, which is to be expected," he said. "Players are moving at a fast pace; guys continue to show up and make plays. "(Linebacker) Donald Booker and (defensive tackle) Swanson Miller made plays. (Cornerbacks) Jacob Lacey and Markelle Martin showed up on defense," he added. Mike Gundy is still a man, but he's no longer 40. The Oklahoma State football coach turned 41 on Tuesday. That tidbit aside, it's unlikely that Gundy will ever be able to escape his infamous "Come after me ... I'm a man! I'm 40!" rant that became a YouTube sensation last September following the Cowboys' 49-45 victory over Texas Tech. Even a casual viewer of ESPN's SportsCenter recognizes that there's an incredible shelf life on those press conference rants as they get rehashed after each subsequent meltdown. Even though he'd rather forget, Gundy is obviously aware of the stir he created when he publicly railed on a local newspaper columnist. Gundy felt that an opinion piece by Jenni Carlson of The Oklahoman inaccurately portrayed former Oklahoma State quarterback Bobby Reid, who was being benched in favor of Zac Robinson, and let everyone know exactly how he felt. While being introduced for his session with print media at last month's Big 12 Conference media days, Gundy was asked by the moderator if he'd like to make any opening comments before taking questions. "I've been pretty popular guy over the last year," Gundy said. "I don't know how many opening comments I need to make." Despite the popularity of the video clip, Gundy said he didn't actual see it on YouTube.com until someone showed it to him last January. "I'm not a big computer guy," Gundy said. "I've not once in my life been on YouTube. I don't know how to get on it. " ...
