Google's blogging service Blogger, acquired in 2003 and chronically slow with new features but lately catching up more quickly, rolled out a new feature called "reactions." This is a quick user poll widget, available if you're using Blogger's experimental version, which lets you define a set of attributes like "funny", "interesting", "cool", or anything else. Then, your readers can upvote each of these attributes for each of your posts using a button (without any undo functionality, apparently). Google to promote Google Reader through Blogger Google has plans to popularize the RSS feature provided by Blogger based blogs. The company would be using simpler punch line to encourage readers to show the appreciation towards blog they like reading. Blogger blogs would soon feature a new button which would enable the readers to Follow the blog. They would then be showcased Google Reader powered RSS reader which could be used to monitor all their favorite blogs and other websites.
