Scout .com recently re-evaluated the Football Recruiting classes in the Class of 2008. In the new rankings, the Recruiting web site considered only the players who actually enrolled. The ACC ended up with six teams in the top 25 after North Carolina was moved from No. 30 to No. 24. The Miami Hurricanes led the ACC in the rankings and was third overall in the country behind Notre Dame and Alabama. Coaches say the NCAA's decision to increase the core class eligibility requirement from 14 to 16 classes has hurt a lot of Division I types who are marginal students.
