    The soon-to-be new location of Cresco City Hall received about $45,000 in Damage from this summer’s flooding, according to City Administrator John Lloyd.     The former Fortress Bank building, located at 130 N. Park Place, sustained Flood Damage in its basement, including Damage to dry wall, to the carpet and tile floors and to floor-level cabinets.     Cresco Bank & Trust donated the 14,000-square-foot building to the city last November. The City Council voted earlier this year to move City Hall into the building.     Crews began removing the Flood-damaged cabinets about two weeks ago because of mold. They also replaced dry wall and have begun repairing floor Damage. Lloyd expects it will take about a month to complete all the repairs.     City officials hope to have moved City Hall into the building before the first snowfall, Lloyd said.     Before they can set up shop at the N. Park Place location, some construction work will need to be completed to convert the former bank into City Hall. Officials will install another bathroom and remove three walls to open up space, among other minor tasks. ...
