Details of Palm’s upcoming smartphone, the Treo Pro , have been unearthed on a hidden Flash presentation at the company’s site. The presentation, since taken down, details a Windows Mobile 6.1 GSM handset with 3G, a much slimmer body and a flush 320 x 320 touchscreen. Other specs include WiFi, a 3.5mm headphone socket, MicroUSB connector and MicroSD slot for Memory Cards. The casing appears to be much slicker than previous Treos, with the design an evolution of the Centro and the recent Treo 800w . The QWERTY keyboard looks to be a development of that on the Centro, rather than the bowed ‘board of the 800w. No other details have been leaked, but this could certainly satisfy some of the complaints we had in our 800w review. Sarah is typical of most young women today, balancing her marketing career, running a household, and enjoying her 10-month old son, Grayson. There just doesn’t seem to be enough time to complete daily chores, let alone additional projects. However, after Jack, her husband, accidentally erased the Memory card with the family’s photos of their recent trip to visit Sarah’s parents in Maine, she decided to take on the task of organizing and protecting the family’s memories. “It wasn’t as though we had lost our entire collection, but those photos were irreplaceable,” Sarah said. “Luckily, we were able to find a software program that recovered most of the pictures from the card. Otherwise, Jack may still be sleeping on the couch.” Organizing and Protecting our Digital Lives In the 10 months since Grayson was born, Sarah estimates she has accumulated more than 1500 photos on her notebook hard drive, and an additional 500 on several different Flash Cards. “We’re always taking photos--every trip to the park, every event, and every holiday. My camera stays in my purse,” says Sarah with a smile. When she first started chronicling Grayson’s life, Sarah admitted that she did little more than fill Flash Cards, uploading some to Facebook or Shutterfly, and printing a few to share. “I guess I thought that as long as the photos were somewhere, they were safe. Organizing them seemed too overwhelming. I didn’t know where to start, and I didn’t have the t ...

According to Phone Arena , there will be slight differences to the offerings of America's two largest CDMA carriers. The Touch Diamond will appear as the Sprint Victor while Verizon Wireless will retain the Touch Diamond brand. Phone Arena notes that the most significant differences to both the Victor and the Diamond offered by the competing CDMA carriers will be: Sprint’s variant runs on Qualcomm 7501A chipset with 528MHz processor, 256MB ROM, 256MB RAM and 4GB internal Memory. Verizon’s runs on Qualcomm 7500 chipset with 400MHz processor, has half the RAM (128MB) and has microSD Cards slot instead of 4GB NAND Flash. Sprint’s Victor will have an accelerometer (Motion G Sensor), Rev.A straight out of the box, and aluminum frame. Verizon’s Diamond lacks the sensor, is Rev.A upgradable and has stainless steel frame. . It boils down to the Sprint's model has more RAM, built-in storage, accelerometer, and a slightly faster processor. Verizon eschews the built-in storage for a Memory card slot, has a slower processor, less RAM, and no motion sensor. The Touch Pro will be more or less the same as its keyboard-less counterparts. Sprint's model will be named the HTC Herman while Verizon will go with HTC Raphael. Both models will have 512 MB for ROM Memory and both will not have the 4 GB internal storage. Instead, they will both come with a Memory card slot. Rumors have it that the Victor (Touch Diamond on Sprint) will appear on September 2 and ...
