Zonk brings word that Multiverse, the developer who in 2006 acquired the rights to make a FIREFLY-based MMO, has announced that a Buffy: The Vampire Slayer MMO is now under development. An interview with Corey Bridges from Multiverse seems to indicate that the FIREFLY MMO, though delayed, is not dead. He also provides a few details on what the Buffy game will be like. Quoting: "What we're doing with the Buffy game then is releasing it in stages. It will first be a flash-based virtual world, with the full Multiverse server behind it. ... So it will start as a 2D flash-based MMO where you can go on missions and interact with other players. This will extend even once we have the 3D client working, where you can both interact with players using the other point of view. We're going to have these shared spaces where 2D and 3D people can interact. All of this will come out in phases, with staged gameplay coming out. We're sort of blazing a path with this concept, and we're really interested in what this might mean for players of the two versions. ... The end is nigh. The last season of FIREFLY started last night and if the season premiere is any indication, it comes a season too late. Joss was on a roll last season only to be brought to a screeching halt by the writer's strike. Those nine episodes are right up there with the first season's classic hours. Name: FIREFLY kompletna serija (2002) + film Serenity (2005) / Category: TV Serije Strane / Seeders: 1 / Leechers: 12 / Size: 5.73 GB / Snatched: 0 x times Serija se nikada nije bavila nekim posebno dubokim temama, nego je nudila 45 minuta odlicne zabave i bila mi je pravo osvjezenje medju serijama na TV-u koje su, osim par izuzetaka, uglavnom juznoamericke sapunice ili precjenjene gluposti poput Kucanica. Kako se to cesto desi sa kvalitetnim serijama ni FIREFLY nije imao veliku gledanost, pa je otkazan nakon 15 epizoda. U medjuvremenu je stekla nekakav polukultni status, pa je odluceno da se serija nastavi u obliku filma i 2005 godine snimljen Serenity, cija se prica nastavlja direktno na seriju i daje odgovore na neka pitanja. Radnja se uglavnom vrti oko sestre doktora (clana posade) i njenih misterioznih sposobnosti zbog kojih je juri vlada, te iznimno nasilnih i poremecenih svemirskih koljaca i njihove istorije. Obe ove teme su bile zastupljene u seriji, ali je scenarij prilicno dobar, pa nema nikakvih problema sa pracenjem radnje za one koje nisu pratili seriju. Buduci da je budzet veci ovdje ima vise akcije i svemirskih egzibicija. Osim vise akcije, Serenity ima i nesto vise dramskih elemenata nego serija, dok je kolicina humora tu negdje. Kompletna glumacka ekipa je tu, sto je plus, jer je zaista odlicna sa dobro izabranim glumcima za svaku ulogu. Reziser je sam Joss Whedon i moram reci da me ugodno iznenadio. Serenity je dobro ...
