Hi guys ,After losing his Appeal in house of lords and European Court of Human Rights. He is now finally Appeal to Home Secretary over Extradition. He had asked the European Court of Human Rights to stay his Extradition pending an Appeal, but the application was refused yesterday. He lost appeals to the High Court last year and to the House of Lords last month. US prosecutors allege(False clam) that he caused nearly $1 million (£550,000) in damage. The US military says that he rendered 300 computers at a US Navy weapons station unusable immediately after the September 11 attacks. Mr McKinnon had become obsessed with a theory that the US was using alien technologies to create weapons and “free energy”. He gave up his job and spent hours every night hacking in search of evidence. He was caught in November 2002 as he tried to download a grainy black-and-white photograph that he believed was of an alien craft held on a Nasa computer in the Johnson Space Centre in Houston, Texas. He was easily traced by the authorities because he used his girlfriend’s e-mail account. Mr McKinnon has previously said: “What I did was illegal and wrong, and I accept I should be punished. But I am not a member of al-Qaeda. I believe my case is being treated so seriously because they’re scared of what I’ve seen. I’m living in a surreal, nutter’s film.” He has suggested that the US authorities should take advantage of his expertise rather than prosecute him. “The ...

SADDEST NEWS IN UFO COMMUNITY " GARY MCKINNON LOSE Extradition Appeal " European Court of Human Rights rejects McKinnon's plea to delay departure. London hacker Gary McKinnon will be sent to the US to be tried on seven counts of computer fraud committed against the US government. If convicted, McKinnon is likely to spend life in jail. McKinnon asked the European Court of Human Rights (ECHR) to delay his Extradition while he made a full Appeal to the court against the Extradition, arguing the conditions of detention he would face if convicted in the US would be degrading and against the ECHR act. However, his application has been denied and a spokeswoman from the UK Home Office said there is nothing the UK government can do to stop the process. “It’s a framework that has to be followed,” she said. The US government accuses McKinnon of accessing and damaging 92 computers holding information on national defence, security and military operations. His hacking ultimately caused a network in Washington DC to shut down, resulting in a loss of internet access and email service to about 2,000 users for three days, the US government said. The estimated loss is around $900,000 (£490,000), it said. “Once he was able to access the computers, McKinnon installed a remote administration tool, a number of hacker tools, copied password files and other files, deleted a number of user accounts and deleted critical system files,” read one of the US governme ...

Lawyers for a Briton accused of hacking into secret military and Nasa computers are asking the home secretary to ensure he is not jailed in the US. Glasgow-born Gary McKinnon, 42, who last month lost his Appeal against Extradition, could face life in jail if convicted of accessing 97 computers. His lawyer Karen Todner said his human rights would be breached if he did not return to the UK after a trial. The Home Office said his case was "receiving consideration". A spokesman said: " Further representations have been received today from solicitors against Mr. McKinnon's surrender to the USA which are receiving consideration. " Mr. McKinnon, from Wood Green, north London, was said to be "distraught" after losing his Extradition Appeal to the European Court of Human Rights. He has admitted breaking into the computers, but says he sought information on UFOs and only got in because of lax security. View: Full Story at the BBC Read full story... ...
