Nearly a month ago jbickers made a post that mentioned the TIGsource Demakes competition. The competition is over, and the winners have been announced . All of these are playable. Most are for Windows, except for those that are Flash or something else: 1. Soundless Mountain II (Atari 2600 Silent Hill) (from previous post) 2. The last Id heard of Konamis Wii launch title Elebits was asking for the game for Christmas and then never pursuing it on my own afterwards. This happens a lot with games Im keenly interested in trying, but have no deep desire to own. Konami is preparing a DS sequel to its inaugural Wii title Elebits. Elebits: The Adventures of Kai and Zero will be a direct sequel to the Wii original, following the adventures of Kai and his search for tiny energy-producing creatures called Elebits. The sequel finds him transported to an entirely new realm, where he'll continue to use his capture gun, but use the touch-screen interface instead of the Wiimote point-and-zap of the original. New features will include the discovery of "Omega" Elebits, who will then accompany Kai and share their abilities -- which will become necessary -- throughout the game's stages. The sequel will also make good use of the DS' wi-fi functionality, allowing head-to-head battles, as well as four-player matches. Unjustly ignored Konami Wii launch-title Elebits is getting the sequel treatment. Elebits: The Adventures of Kai and Zero is currently in development exclusively for Nintendo DS. Described as an "exciting game of hide and seek," this puzzle game allows players to "find, capture and befriend the tiny creatures known as Elebits who serve as energy sources in a far-off world where energy resources have been depleted." So, kind of like the the first one, but handheld. The game will bost up-to-four-player head-to-head action and, of course, will utilize the DS touchscreen.
