Got iTunes? Like Diablo? Excited about Diablo III ? Enjoy soundtrack music? If you answered yes to at least one of these questions, then you need to head on over to iTunes and download the “Diablo III Overture” from Emmy-winning sound designer Russell Brower and The Eminence Symphony Orchestra. If not only because it is FREE, but because it is highly cool as well. Not only does it sound very epic, has interesting vocals that are a bit creepy and is totally worthy of a really cool sci-fi or fantasy movie, it is just really good music. Plus, it just got me even more excited for the game. If this music is any indication of what the soundtrack to the game is going to be like, then we will hopefully have a game not only full of eye popping graphics and great gameplay but glorious sound as well. Great music and sound always adds to the experience. Oh, did I also mention that it was free? For more on Diablo III, check out some of our previous posts . It's official! According to the BlizzCon 2008 program guide, Blizzard fans and member of the press who just happen to be covering the event for some gaming blog will be able to get their hands on Diablo III later today when the show floor opens. From the program guide: Don't Miss... Diablo III Gameplay Stations: Venture deep into Tristram Cathedral to face the Skeleton King. Along with the hands on sessions, there will also be a Diablo III Class Design panel that promises to delve deeper into the design of the previously announced barbarian and witch doctor, "and a new champion who has emerged to defend the mortal world." The panel kicks off tomorrow at noon following the opening ceremonies, so be sure to check back tomorrow afternoon to see who joins the line up! ...
You’ll need an iTunes account to download it, but the Diablo III Overture is now free on the iTunes store, helping all of us through this difficult period in our lives where we don’t have Diablo III. The track is an orchestral…something. Overture is definitely the best term, but it doesn’t inspire visions of the dark lord of terror taking control of the world (and my right index finger) again, which is pretty sadface.
